Position Title: CAREER FIREFIGHTER

Pay Range $45,000 to $52,200

Minimum Qualifications:

18 Years of Age
HS diploma or GED
Valid NC driver’s license
NC Firefighter Level I & II
NC EVD (Within 6 months)
NIMS 700,100, & 200 (within 6 months)
Medical Responder or EMT (within 1 year)

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- - Station and Apparatus upkeep and basic maintenance
  - Common and accepted functions of Fire, Rescue, and EMTs
  - Incident mitigation, Incident reporting, record keeping, public relations, and fire prevention
  - Perform additional tasks assigned through their chain of command

  - NC Office of State Fire Marshal Transcripts: Detailed Training Transcript, Summary Transcript, and Classes Remaining Transcript
  - These can be found and printed off the NCOSFM Website https://apps.ncdoi.net/f?p=305:1
  - Copies of your ICS (NIMS) Certifications: 100,200,700,800, and others if you have them
  - Copies of all your Fire or Emergency Service-Related Certifications (All Certifications)
  - Copy of your EMT Certification
  - Copy of your Driver’s License
